Dr. Peter L. Banfe

Masters of Ministry, The Crown College of the Bible
PhD, The George Washington University, IPE
MSci, The London School of Economics, IPE

Dr. Banfe has a profound burden for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ in Burma as well as for the millions of lost souls in the Golden Land.   Before heeding God’s call to missions Dr. Banfe most recently served as the Dean of the School of Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the Crown College of the Bible where he completed his Masters of Ministry at the Crown College Seminary.  Prior to this Dr. Banfe was a tenured university professor at a Midwest Christian University and has published articles on Asian culture and has published a book entitled The Deity of Christ:  Declared in both English and Burmese.   Dr. Banfe speaks Spanish, Hungarian and has a good working knowledge of the Burmese language.

The Banfe’s have a love for the precious people of Burma and are broken by the idolatry and pagan beliefs that rule their lives and will lead them to a Christless Hell.  They are called to preach the Gospel and facilitate the spread of the Good News to the Burmese people as servants of the Living God to increase His Kingdom in the Golden Land.   As part of this ministry:

  1. Publications: printed and distributed 10’s of thousand of Burmese Judson Bibles and Gospel literature within Burma and Thailand.
  2. Radio: Established a 24 hour a day Burmese Christian radio station with godly music, teaching and preaching.
  3. Bible/ESL School: Founded an English as a second language through the Bible online school which, in the first year graduated 80 Buddhist, Muslim and Cultural Christian students.
  4. Evangelism: Began “Myanmar Lifeline” to bring the love of Christ through Gospel literature and discipling as well as food and necessities to the lost, poor and needy in Burma and in Thailand.

Dr. Banfe is the husband of a lovely, fine Christian woman, Sherrie who serves with him on Mission to Burma and is a dedicated student of the Bible. He is also father of two precious children, a son and daughter.  Peter, his son, is currently pastoring a Baptist church in Michigan.  Aniko, his daughter graduated Veritas Baptist College with honors in Youth Ministry and is currently serving as a youth Pastor’s wife in Savannah, Georgia.  Her husband is a graduate of the Crown College of the Bible in Pastoral ministry.

Dr. Banfe accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while at a church in London England while attending college there.  It was there, in that church, that God convicted him of his sin, and he understood the price Christ paid for that sin,  and he was born again.  His heart is for the Burma and he has dedicated the rest of his life to working to bring the Gospel to the Burmese people.
